Meisha Sherman

Meisha Sherman serves as FranklinCovey’s chief people officer.

Meisha Sherman has over 30 years in human resources with a focus on creating high-trust, high-performing cultures. Her career spans many industries, including wellness, dental, technology, government aerospace defense, consulting, and banking and finance. She has led in Fortune 10 to Fortune 1000 companies including Mindbody, Envista Corporation, Danaher Corporation, Hewlett Packard, Raytheon Technologies, Alert Staffing, Remedy, and Bank of America. She has held C-Suite executive leadership roles, such as Chief People Officer; Vice President, Global Human Resources; and Global Director, Executive Leadership and Organizational Development.

Meisha has led as a trusted business partner and advisor to boards of directors, CEOs, executive teams, and has been responsible for all facets of human resources: executive compensation, employee relations, compensation and benefits, organizational design, performance management, talent acquisition, leadership development, diversity & inclusion, succession planning, employee engagement and talent management, delivering high-impact strategies that drive sustainable business results, and organizational performance excellence.

Meisha served in the United States Army for six years and was responsible for the recruitment, development, and retention of soldiers. Today, she continues to serve those in military service and veterans in partnership with the USO, San Diego. She also serves as immediate past Board Chair of California Coast Credit Union and is Chairwoman of the Board of Neighborhood House Association (NHA).

Meisha has presented on broad-based human resources, talent, engagement, leadership, and diversity and inclusion at the Conference Board, ATD, PIHRA SHRM, and NAWMBA conferences. She earned an MBA from Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management and a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from California State University Dominguez Hills, graduating magna cum laude.
